Bobcat Vibratory Roller for Skid Steers
Overview
Bobcat's vibratory roller attachment compacts granular material over wider areas than a plate compactor — ideal for gravel roads, parking lots, and large pads. The smooth drum vibrates at high frequency for maximum compaction efficiency. Available in widths to match mid-frame and large-frame Bobcat machines. Available through Bobcat dealers across Canada.

Is This Right For You?
Buy if
- You compact granular fill, gravel, or aggregate after grading — rollers and compactors eliminate voids
- Pathway construction, driveway base compaction, or trench backfill compaction with your skid steer
- You want to combine compaction with your existing skid steer fleet without a dedicated walk-behind compactor
Skip if
- Cohesive clay soils are your primary material — vibratory compaction is less effective in clay
- Deep fill lifts over 12 inches — you'll need multiple passes or a heavier piece of equipment
Also consider
- Soil conditioner for surface prep and grading before compaction
- Landplane for final grading before compaction
Designed for Bobcat machines but mounts to any skid steer or CTL with a universal SSQA quick-attach plate.

Care & Maintenance
- Inspect carbide rotor teeth after every use — chipped or worn teeth cut unevenly and increase hydraulic motor load significantly
- Replace teeth in matched pairs across the rotor to maintain balance — uneven tooth wear creates vibration that stresses motor bearings and the drive system
- Grease rotor shaft bearing housings after every 8 hours of operation
- Clean packed soil from behind the rotor guard and between tooth mounts after every use — buildup restricts rotation and can cause the rotor to stall in normal material
- Check the hydraulic motor drive coupler and belts (if belt-driven) for wear weekly during active season — belt failure in the middle of a job is a common and avoidable breakdown
How to Connect
- Attach frame using Bob-Tach
- Connect hydraulic couplers for rotor motor
- Lower rotor to working depth before engaging rotation
- Make first pass at half speed to verify depth and rock clearance
