Is This Right For You?
Buy if
- You're processing heavy brush, overgrown saplings, and thick vegetation that standard-flow flails can't handle
- Your machine has high-flow hydraulics and you want the productivity gain on large acreage or contract work
- You're doing reclamation, right-of-way clearing, or heavy vegetation management regularly
Skip if
- Your machine is standard-flow — high-flow flails won't perform better and may overheat
- Light grass mowing is your primary use — a standard flail mower is simpler and less expensive
Also consider
- Standard flail mower for light-to-medium vegetation on standard-flow machines
- Brush mulcher for woody material over 4 inches that high-flow flails still struggle with
Compatible with all skid steer brands and compact track loaders via universal SSQA quick attach. Mid to large-frame machines (S450–S750 class) are the best fit for this width.

Care & Maintenance
- Inspect all flail hammers before every use — broken or missing hammers unbalance the rotor; a single missing hammer at high RPM creates destructive vibration
- Replace flail hammers in matched sets to maintain rotor balance — even one missing hammer causes vibration that damages drive motor bearings
- Grease rotor shaft bearing housings after every 8 hours of cutting
- Remove wrapped wire, twine, and root material from around the rotor shaft after every session — wrapped material cuts through shaft seals and causes bearing contamination
- Check the hydraulic motor case drain line for leakage after extended work in thick material — a restricted drain causes shaft seal failure and catastrophic motor damage
How to Connect
- Attach frame using Bob-Tach
- Connect high-flow hydraulic couplers
- Run rotor at idle for 20 seconds before engaging full speed
- Test stall protection if equipped
