Care & Maintenance

Pre-wet the drum with water and coarse aggregate before first use and after any idle period — concrete bonds permanently to a dry drum and is nearly impossible to remove once cured
Flush the drum with water and a handful of gravel immediately after every pour — even 30 minutes of delay can start the curing process on residual concrete
Grease drum bearing mounts and hydraulic motor drive shaft weekly during active use
Inspect the drum opening seal for wear and replace before it allows concrete to reach the bearing housing — concrete in the bearing is immediate bearing failure
Store with the drum oriented to drain — standing water inside the drum rusts the interior and degrades the mixing fins over time

How to Connect

Attach mixer frame using Bob-Tach
Connect hydraulic drum rotation circuit
Test drum direction — drum should mix inward (counterclockwise as viewed from chute side) for mixing, reverse to discharge
Verify drum is empty before connecting to machine
