Blue Diamond's 84-inch land plane is a wide-coverage grading and leveling tool for skid steers working on driveways, access roads, pads, and large flat areas. The wider 84-inch version covers more ground per pass than their 72-inch model. - Lubricate blade hinge and float mechanism pivot pins each season — seized float pivots defeat the purpose of the attachment
- Check scarifier shanks for tooth wear or breakage before each use — a missing shank puts lateral load on adjacent shanks and the boom
- After use in mud or clay, clean accumulated material from the blade housing — dried clay adds uneven weight and prevents proper floating
- Inspect blade-mounting welds for cracking at season start — the float mechanism amplifies vertical stress on the mounting hardware over time
